We have a simple, upfront and transparent fee structure. No hdden fees
or surpises. All costs that ever will be payable by a tenant are shown
clearly in the lease agreement. Make sure you read this clearly so that
you are aware of your responsibilities upfront.
Below is a summary list of costs but these are indicative only. You are
once again encouraged to read your elade agreement fully before signing.
BASIC FEES SCHEDULE
A R95 non refundable application fee. This is deducted off the leade admin fee if successful
A Lease Admin Fee of R595 (less the R95 application fee
An Exit Inspection Fee of R295
Additional Deposits - If the
rental was agreed at 1 1/2 months rent as deposit and the rent
increases, then the deposit will increase proportionately
POSSIBLE ADDITIONAL FEES SCHEDULE
Fees for processing cash deposits - 2% of the amount
Additional rental amounts for parking spaces etc in complexes if specified seperately
Lawnmowing, security and other services if specified in the lease agreement
Increased Insurance - If
the tenants behaviour increases the risk to the property, the landlord
may amend his insurance and increase the rent accordingly
Early Termination Inspection Fee - R295 if the tenant terminates the lease before the expiry date
Early Termination
Penalties - To a maximum of two months rental penalty payable if tenant
terminates the lease before the expiry date
DEFAULT FEES SCHEDULE
Additional Deposits for
Default - Should the tenant default at any time during the lease, the
landlord is entitled to increase the deposit if believed neccessary
Interest on any arrear amounts
Administrative costs and handling and collecting rent arrears in the amount of R50 per day
Late Services Payment
Penalties in the amount of R250 per incident, where the landlord has to
pay municipal and other services on the tenant's behalf and then
re-claim
